Jeremy Bouffard was an individual who influenced everyone he met. He was my younger brother, although since we were only 18 months apart, he seemed neither older nor younger. Jeremy was kind of ageless in that respect. He had always been mature – well, more mature than most guys – and he always seemed so sure of himself that he appeared older than he was.
